I wonder if anyone has a workaround for this.
I created video cd 2.0 profile in mmc7.5. Edited it with MMC Reg tool (latest version). I noticed this:
-if I set VCD bit to 0, that is making non-complient VCD, MMC is capable of segmenting my capture according to the size specified in this profile.
-if I set VCD bit to 1, that is making fully vcd 2.0 complient capture, MMC doesn't segment my capture according to the specified segment size.
So, the question is if anyone knows how to bypass this "feature" - it would be nice to be able to create right away a VCD 2.0 complient capture broken into correctly sized files.
Thanks.

Unfortunately this is true. I even just tried to create a copy of their VCD profile and then using the registry tool changed the VCD bit to 0. The same story if the bit is 0, segmenting is happening, otherwise not.
