    Ok I been reading alot about different programs to convert formats. Im a newbie and want to make a good looking svcd. what would be the best program to use. Im captureing with Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge, my files a uncompressed avi files, want to covert to svcd.......Please help

    start with tmpgenc, use the default svcd template to begin with and see how it looks like. www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgencsvcd.htm . higher bitrate = higher quality....
