I've just tried encoding a DivX film using TMPGEnc Plus 2.58.
The original DivX had a VBR audio track, so I ripped that using VirtualDub to a CBR PCM Wavfile, then, using TMPGEnc, encoded an mpg file using the two separate files - ie video and audio.
All seemed to go well, but when I viewed it, it had inverted the screen!
    Any ideas?

Thanks Baldrick, but I'm not stupid - I did search and everything I found referred to the Nimo pack which I DON'T have installed, so the advice in those threads was null and void!

Strangely, it wasn't just turned through 180 degrees, it was mirrored as well - but only in WinAmp 3's viewer which had grabbed the mpg files as default. When I reverted to viewing through PowerDVD or WMP9, it was fine.

So, next time before berating people for not searching, perhaps you'll ask politely whether they actually used the search first!
