Connected up a Cyberhome CH-DVD 500 for a friend; however, her TV does not have composite video inputs. I am using her VCR to modulate the DVD video/audio outputs. Everything I play VCD's, homemade DVD's and rental DVD's with macrovision disabled, via the remote macrovision hack, all play in black and white.
I would have thought the VCR could be used as a modulator with this model of DVD player. Even the background wall paper is black and white before anything is place in the loader tray.
Is there anyway to use a VCR and get color on the TV using the CH-DVD 500??? If not, would a cheap modulator from Walmart do the trick?
Thanks Much In Advance
Ron
