  1. I've encoded a .mpv file from CCE and I didn't do the audio. I now have .mpv and a .vaf file and now I was just wondering how do I get the audio from the original .avi file and add it with a .mpv to get an encoded .mpg file after.

What programs do I need? What steps do I need to go through?

    I already have TMPEG.

    Thanks!

You can use tmpgenc, close the wizard and open the avi as audio source, choose audio only and set the correct settings(bitrate and so). If you want a bit better audio quality use toolame with tmpgenc... https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc#toolame

After you encoded you have a mp2/mpa file that you multiplex with the video www.dvdrhelp.com/faq#multiplex

  3. It said "illegal MPEG audio stream" after I hit run in TMPEG. The .mp2 won't even play in Windows Media Player Either.

Do I need to install special software to get it to work with TMPEG or Windows Media Player?

    Thanks!
