  1. Using dvd decrypter, dvd2one and recordnow max to backup harry potter chamber dvd
dvd decrypter and dvd2one went ok but while burning get this error

    ERROR-10 at sector 1911712-disc write error command:2a sence:03 ASC; OC ASCQ;08

It was at 80% first time tried again and it happened at 91%

  2. Try this in RecordNow Max tools/options/data disc un-check the option where it says "recognize the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders per the DVD specifications" and see if the error goes away.

  3. I have got a copy to work but im not happy with the sucess rate one out of five (previousley had 6 out of 6 with this setup and media)
also it always happens at the end of the disc80% to 90%
the only thing i have done different to previous sucesses is now add the audio folder which i did not do before but have been told is best to do.

so i will now go and try what you say bob and see if this helps the only problem now is i will have to use the same media\dvd movie to get comparisions then if one works i will be thinking this is just 2 out of 5 then i will have to try again (all my discs will be full of the same movie lol)
one more thing what exactly does this
recognize the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders per the DVD specifications
    do..
    thanks

  4. I don't know what it does but I have seen posts here were they say to disable it (I have it disabled). Also I have burned about 300 disc without any AUDIO_TS folder and they all play in the three different DVD players at home.

BTW I don't use the main RecordNow Max program and just use the wizard and do a data disc but I doubt that makes any difference it's just a little faster for me.

Low tech suggestion, when was the last time you cleaned your burner? I know it's basics, but sometimes it's the easiest to overlook.
