  1. I have a question regarding decrypting movie only files that are less than 4.3G. How would I go about using DVD Decrypter movie only and then creating the missing IFO, BUP files that can then be burned to DVD-R without menus. I am sure you could do this with IFOedit but I am not sure how to do this.

I have in the past used DVD2ONE to re-author and then Nero to burn, but I am sure there has to be an easier way since the file doesn't need to be reencoded. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. delete the old IFO file and then use IFOedit to create new ones.
    don't forget VTS after made.
    Still takes a few minutes.

    I use it often.

  4. Ghoster, DVD2ONE is easy just that it takes so long when I didn't think it was needed in this case.

  6. THE BEST EVER is to go to www.doom9.org and follow his guide...

Click "Guides" on the left, then "DVD / mini DVD", next one is "DVD backup guides" and last one is

    Main movie only

I wudda thought that using DVDToolbox was the easier/better/quicker method and it also tells you the size of the DVD after you strip it

all you do is rip the VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP and the movies VTS_0x_0.IFO/BUP/VOB's then process with DVDToolbox with 2 clicks , takes about 7-9 mins to process

and is DVDShrink not even quicker?

it rips a stream direct from DVD in about 7-10 minutes in Re-author mode, so it cuts the speed in half nearly and you can even crop the end credits to save space

    suppose the choice is yours

    LOL

that's what this forum is about

you either need to lose some of the extras or reduce the quality of the video to fit a DVD9 onto a DVD5 or if need be split the DVD9 onto two DVD5's
