  1. Can anyone help? I am trying to burn a film which has a file size of 719,740 kb. I have a cyberdrive CW038 and nero, I have tried 80, 90 & 99 min discs but there is not enough space on the disc to burn??????????
I have even used the Nero update to 5.5.10.20 but the disc still reads as 703 Mg with the 90 and 99 min disc's so it will not burn. I have enabled overburn with Nero and checked that the disc's & my writer are ok to do the job. All checks out, the cyberdrive supports overburning, the disc's work with nero fine and also the writer, so it should work. I am trying to burn a DivX file as now Kiss have made a stand alone player which supports DivX 5.02 hopefully others will follow. To be honest if a better player is produced I will upgrade my old Sony as I cant be assed to get up and change disc's half way through. Im not interested in writing DVD at the moment so Im stuck with CD's
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, do I need a different driver from Cyberdrive, Ive checked there site and nothing, the same with nero.
Also as I want to burn a Divx file I cant use VCDEasy is there anything better to burn with. I used to use Easy CD Creator but that was for my old PC and its well out of date. I cant get this running as it cant find my writer. Trouble is it came with an old HP 720 writer (what I have in my spare PC)
The problem as far as I can see is that Nero cant read the CDR properly so Im hoping for a hit or two.

  2. If your file is only 713mb that shoudl fit onto a 700mb disk no probs. I just burned a file which was 824mb with no problems wusing nero .14. What sort of media are you using.

  3. That was quick, Im using Infiniti 99 min discs and Datawrite 90 min discs. As far as I can see when I try to get info on the disc I am writing to with Nero it tells me that the disc has a capacity of only 703 mg where the discs will hold a lot more.

  5. I havnt tried that as yet, I have tried the latest update from Nero but I will try uninstalling then reinstalling Nero after I finish work tonight. I would feel foolish if that is all I need to do though.
    Thanks

  6. If you are unlucky in doing that try installing an older version of nero
