    I recently backed up 10 DVD's (All DVD 9) USING THE SAME PROCESS ie,
    Dvd Decryptor , DVD2One , Nero. All 10 play fine on any Standalone I have tried , however only 2 will play on my daughters PS2. I then tried various combinations of other programmes ie dvd95copy,instantcopy,copttodvd,recordnow max, all with the same result.
    Anybody any idea why.

    Did you use the same media each time? PS2 doesn't like all burned media.

    ps2 are real picky with dvd-rs. plus you are useing nero to burn which is another draw back. try another burning software like record now or copytodvd. willing to bet its because of nero why your dvds aren't playing in the ps2.
