I have to convert my VOB's back to the original DVD-MPEG2 file. How to do that job?
Renaming the *.VOB-extension into *.MPG-extension and then merge the files with TMPGenc works. But is there no loss of quality? Anyone knows? Or is there a better methode?

Nope. The VOB's are not MPG's (more like ZIP's if you want an analogy). Just use one of the rippers to get an mp2 and m2v files.

Thanks for the answer. I will try Smartripper. Last question: Is there no lost of quality compared to the original DVD-MPEG2? If yes, I have to save the original MPEG2 in the future before creating a DVD.
Thanks
