Svcd Mpeg2 to Vcd mpeg1

Hope some one can help, my friends dvdplayer wont play mpeg2 files even using the header trick. so i attempted to convert the files using tmpenc but it comes up with nine little boxws jumping all over the picture. When i try to play mpeg2 files with media player the same thing happens but the files work fine with power dvd and on my dvdplayer. Any help is much appriceated.

first off .. try installing the nimmo codec pack then.... its in the tools section here..

ok i allready had the nimo codecs installed but downloaded build 8 again. and it worked thanks for the pointer.
