Is there a way in RecordNow MAX or Nero to set the disc to play on all standalone players? Not just ones with DVD+R compatiblity?

Isn't this a very strange request? The whole issue with recordable DVD is that some players just can't handle recordable media. It's a fact and you just have to live with it. Since the quality of DVD media is also very different between different brands (and sometimes between different individuals from the same brand, even the same package) I would seriously doubt anyone claiming to have found a method to make all DVD+R discs work in all DVD standalone players. Some disc won't even be readable on the very same recorder they were recorded on... (Yes I have had that experience on my DVD-recorder).
