    hi all
    whats the diff between the two pioneer DVD-R units ( A05 and the 105 ) are they the same as i suspect and one is teh OEM ver ?

    The DVR-105 is pioneers drive, the DVR-A05 is the OEM verison (still made by pioneer ofcourse). Most people seem to be buying the Cendyne DVR-A05 drive as it can be had for as low as $170 (w/ rebates).

    The A05 is the retail version while the DVR-105 is the OEM version. And the Cendyne is the DVR-105 and I got for $150.00 after rebates. Good drive as it is in my 2nd computer Which I use to Encodeing machine.
