  1. Hi i can backup a dvd no problems , but i would like to put the extra scenes on it eg. the intro, the making of the film you know all the extras.
    i use smartripper tmpgenc , nero.

    In smartripper click on the files tab. The vobs which contain the movie will already be checked. All other vobs will contain the extras. Check the additional file you want and rip them. Open them in dvd2avi to see what they are.

  3. Hi thanks for your reply, by doing what you said , will the extras start at the begin of the cd, will the opening picture be the intro etc.

    Not necessarily. Extras, trailers, making-of documentaries, etc can be anywhere on the DVD. I've seen some DVDs where all the extras were contained in vts_01_0.vob, and the audio on each section within this vob file were all skewed differently, so it was hard to re-encode. What a frustrating week that was!

    It was then I decided if it was so damn important to have the extras, I'd save myself a week and buy the DVD! When I only want the movie, yet the movie is not really DVD-worthy, then thats when I make a VCD!

    And then theres porn. All VCD for that, boy!
