  1. I just burned a SVCD and the playback is shaky (sucks). The player gave me the folder view and I had to navigate to the .mpg file. It didn't start like does with VCDs. Is this normal? What am I doing wrong?

  2. The only way I could get my AD1500 to play svcds is to us VCDImager.

  3. I also have the Apex 1500 and it refuses to play svcds that are burned by Nero, use vcdimager and a gui to make a bin and cue.

  5. spudz,
you're right it shouldnt matter what u burn it to as long as your player can play/recognize the media.

I've done test clipz with diff size filez with cdr n cdr media and they've played.

Now, however, im having a real bitchh of a time with the latest movie i've encoded to svcd. Followed the same steps as the other dozen or so svcds ive burnt.
I even tried changing the field order (in cce 2.5) to on and off. De-interlacing on and off with tmpgenc and with flask, and the svcd is still shaky on my 1500.

If anyone can shed any light on the issue, by all means, let us know...

Here's my earlier post on the subject...
