Hi! I'm trying to do a comparison of software using dvdxcopy, dvd2one, and Instant Copy 7 on the title Titantic. I will post the results if I can finish! I have the retail version installed with the reg hack. I have successfully used the product to backup "The Ring" I have a P3, 1 gig, 384 meg of ram. Not the greatest setup, but has worked for me ok so far. Here is the problem: I have the title ripped to my hard drive, I've selected the custom options. Deselect all but AC3 5.1, and english subtitles. I do not adjust the individual size of any titles, I keep all titles and use the "F5" trick to adjust to 4.6 gig. I start the processing, it goes through the menu title and begins to process the the main movie. After about 30 seconds, Instant Copy simple shuts down! The application closes on its own. When I reopen, it says that some temporary files are on my drive due to a abmormal shut down and asks if I want to delete these files. I say "yes" and retry the application. Same failure over and over. Could it be a bad rip? Is this title a particular problem? Anyone got any ideas on this? Thanks for any help.

Edit: Must have been the rip of the movie. Have tried other titles and they work

  2. Hi,

I have been having the same problem.... THis is the first time I am using IC and After about 1/2 hr encoding I realize that IC has closed automatically with no alerts. WHen I reopen it, I am asked if it should delete the temporary files....

Why is it happening? How can i correct it?

  3. That may be happening due to an illegal operation with the program. Try disabling any bios cache or video shadowing in bios and see if that helps.
