  1. i used the dvd2svcd program to convert dvds to svcd and there were 3 file which are bout 800 to 825 i was wondering how could i compress them back to 700 each so i can fit it in a cd.

    next time i want rip cds how can set dvd2svcd to a single or 2 cds option so its is easy .

    If you're burning a VCD or SVCD you can fit an 800mb MPG on a 700mb CDR. It has something to do with the Mode that (S)VCD's are burned in. If you're using Nero you should be able to just drag and drop the MPG's you've created.

    As for the 825mb one, that may still fit but you'll need to enable overburn, if your burner and media supports it, and it might not completely fit on the CDR...

    I've gained a little space on Nero by unchecking the CDI application dialog, that gives you about an extra 1.5mb which may make a difference when overburning...
