I wonder if anybody here can help.
I have connected an external USB DVD-ROM to one of the USB ports of the Markus-800. I can play all DVDs but not any other type of files like Dvix, Xvid or mkv. The directory on the DVD is however read correctly. If I copy these Dvix/xvid files on an SD card or the internal HD they play flawlessly. Does anybody know why? The DVD-ROM works fine if connected to a PC

    Tried with a cdr?
In what mode are you burning? multisession, discatonce and iso or udf mode etc?

The external USB DVD-ROM plays all types of DVDs (with ifo and vobs) when connected to the Markus-800. If I put a single session DVD/CD with dvix, xvid or any other video file, I can browse the files and the directory is shown correctly but when I select and try to play any of the files I get the error message "file type not supported". The same dvix/xvid files work pefectly on the Markus-800 if played from the internal HD or from an SD card connected to the USB port. The DVD burnt with divx files plays perfectly on all my Dvix players. I have the impression that a USB DVD-ROM connected to the USB port of the Markus-800 is not recognized as a mass storage device but as a DVD.
