  2. there are several ways. I would suggest that you read one of the many guides that show you exactly how to take care of the sync issue at the top of the main page. If you have already made attempts using the guides, please tell me which ones and we can trouble shoot from there. Also, it would be helpful if you mentioned what type of out of sync you are having. Continual 3 seconds out of sync, or in sync then out of sync throughout X amount of the movie.

Well even though I'm not the original poster, I can answer your question and maybe you can help me. The audio is behind the video in some spots, and in other spots of the movie it's ahead of the video. This makes it very hard if not impossible to fix the audio in vdub by simply delaying it, so I'm wondering what else could be the problem? Thanks!

  4. is it out of sync when you play it on your stand alone DVD player? It should play just fine if you are watching the divx on your computer. If it is this, more than likely it is an issue with the conversion that you did.

Rather than have me go through a lengthy explanation on how to cure the sync issue on a conversion, could you post back and let me know what you are playing it on (DVd player or PC), what the specs of the file are (fps and whatnot). Also is this a PAL video or NTSC video (are you in PAL region or NTSC region)?
