extract the audio form your divx movie using VirtualDub then load that up as your audio source.

ok i did it that way with the separate audio file and now i get this error
Result: Write error occurred at address 77F52109 of module 'ntdll.dll' with 00000000
any idea to what this is -
ntdll.dll, i was having the same problem, i think you can fix that by downloading the latest version of the XviD codec. If that doesn't solve your problems, then I'm not entirely sure what will. I used to have the same problem, it got to the piont that I couldnt even open TMPGEnc without getting the error. I got mad at TMPGEnc and stopped using it for a while, during that time, i downlaoded and installed the newest version of the XviD coded and DirectX (9).... so... I dunno
Time's not wasted when you're wasted all the time. -
where would i be able to get the newest xvid codec from all i can find are the source files
