Hey guys,
what do you recommend for a program that will rip DVD9 movies to a single DVD5 DVD-R disc? I want something quick & easy and streamlined, like DVDxCopy. The only thing I don't like about DVDxCopy is that it won't change the compression or size to make the movie fit onto one discAnd a few more options might be nice, too.
So what do you guys recommend?
Dan

Ahh how I wish a program like that existed.
DVD95Copy can do it but it isn't quick.
Instant Copy can do it but it isn't quick.
DVD2ONE is very fast but can only copy the movie.
I think you will have to wait a while longer before you get programs which can do this.
Best Regards.

Or another option might be to wait a few weeks. That is when DVDxCopy "Platinum" comes out. This version will have a "super fast patent pending compression engine". By that I take it to mean that it will be in the range of DVD2one, which takes about 20-30 minutes to transcode on my computer. What a wonderful world! So many options! But that also adds to the confusion.

If you don't need the menu, use DVD2ONE, you will still be able to select what subtitles and audio options. If you want menu, then instantcopy is pretty good and easy to use.
Hope that helps. -
