  1. I keep getting an internal application error on my windows media player. I have tried to reinstall but the same shit happens. Does anyone know how to remove the program, because it's not in the control panel. It's really ticking me off right now. I don't want to reformat my whole hard drive just to watch mpegs, asf, avi, etc again. It was working until the other day. I have no clue what's wrong with it. I can't even open the program. I get a pop up that says, "internal application error." Any help please before I have to reformat?

    Thanks,
    DH

  2. Use System Restore to roll-back your system or you can select Media Player 6:right-click on file>choose "Open With">select "Windows Media Player" with clapboard icon and check box that says "Always use this program...."
BTW...this topic should be in "Software Playing"
