Should my -A04 be able to read a +RW and 1 more question.

OK, so I had a DVD + RW drive which I downloaded an .img to view on my standalone and it worked fine. Since then I sold the + Drive and bought a Cendyne rebadged Pioneer A04 (with what appears to be v1.20 firmware).

First question is is there something I can download to stop the region change thing from kicking in? I have 4 more changes left before it locks regions.

Secondly, how can I take the DVD+RW disc and copy its contents to my HD then reburn it as a DVD-R? If the Pioneer can't do this, I do have my old DVD Rom lying around which I could plug back in to try and extract an .img file.

I realise that I could probably find answers to my questions by reading around the forum but I want to copy the + disc for friend who is leaving town on Monday (and tomorrow we have a huge St Patricks day parade going right past my house so that will be most of the day gone....)

I have a AO4 and put a DVD+RW in and the AO4 was able to read it just rip it and burn it to DVD-R
