    I have come accross a program that can convert MKV to TS, without recoding...

    Click the MKV2TS link and download along with the filters.

    Seems to work, but needs someone to help iron out the bugs...

    That's one way....but there are lot of media streamers out now that will play H.264 with AC3 in TS container.....

    There are some methods on the net for changing an MKV container to TS or AVI, but most just don't work

    So....take a look and see if anyone can make use of it...

    I'm trying it now but as I understand you also need, mainconcept mp4 demuxer, multiplexer, elecard sink filter?, elecard multiplex/demulitplexer. Are those free?

    Dont know....but if you download the filters and register them...I think that does it

    LOL....although, for a change, doesn't seem to have messed anything up on mine....so all's well..

    Anyhows, I would be very interested in anyone's view on this one....with this, and the promised MKV input support in TSremuxer....things are looking up for the media streamers

  9. MMMM....well I have tried it but their are A/V sync issues....I think MKV must use VFR and the sync info stored in the MKV container itself....

    Anyone have any views?
