I have been following this guide and after folllowing it I found some things that look different to mine and also the bit that is really different is the save part, before burning

This is how it's suppost to be but mine only lets me save as: .m2v + .wav

How do I save as an mpeg so I can burn to DVDR?

I need a guide that lets me convert DivX to a DVDR without hassle. I have ran through this guide 20+ times just to make sure I got it right and yet it still seems wrong even if I checked it word for word.

All I need is to convert Divx to DVDR!!! It doesn't matter what programs to use providing it's simple.

You must have selected only video input and not an audio input in the wizard.
Another way is to not use the wizard and instead setting streamtype to system to get a mpeg

After I managed to encode it (kind of) I burnt it with InstantCopy and I left it while I went to work, 13 hours later I came back and it was only 62% done and the time left keeps jumping. Now it's telling me it's gonna take 462 mins, There seems to be a problem but not sure what it is!!!
