  1. I have 16:9 sony 32"
    when i put ORIGINAL 5Th element for Slovenian/ serbian/croatian i have movie on screen but there is black on left, right, up and down side of screen, so movie is showing only in centar of TV.

    Why.
    Ofcourse, i make copy and it is same thing.
    i want to shrink it.

    try changing your dvd player setting to 16:9 as it could be on the wrong setting such as pan and scan.

  4. The DVD could be encoded at 4:3, with the black bars actually encoded into the video signal. In that case, you'll need to use the stretch option on your TV (if it has one) to make the actual video fill the screen and get rid of the bars. Why they do this i'll never know, but I have seen a handful of DVDs that are encoded like that.

  6. If you wanna re-encode, you can use TMPGEnc to crop out all the black. then set the encoding aspect ratio to 16:9.
