    hi

    this is my system :

    Toshiba 50" Projection TV - Hyper Pro 100
    Pioneer DV-636D DVD-PLayer
    Kenwwod VR-309 DTS amp 100wx5
    BOSE 5 Speaker
    Jamo Subwoofer 200W

    and i want to change my DVD player cause i notes that Sony have better picture than my Pioneer !!
    and also i want some extra futures .

    i want a DVD can do this :

    DVD-R
    DVD-RW
    DVD+R
    DVD+RW
    DVD-A
    SACD
    CD-R
    CD-RW
    VCD
    SVCD = not importent
    MP3
    Progressive Scan
    play PAL and NTSC
    work with 110~220AC
    have more than 500 Lines to give me good quality picture
    DD , DTS , DTS/ES
    play cheap media

    i think thats all i need.. am i ??

    i have only 300-350$.

    ok i can't see if the the RP82 can play SACD ??

    and can this work with 110v and 220v ??

    how is the picture and sound quality in this player ??

    is there any thing you dislike in this player ??

    thats the wrong picture in that ad.

    here is what is really looks like

    plays dvd audio -- well you can read all the other specs on the panasonic web site ..

    also it has superb reviews on any of the user review sites ..

    panasonic claims it does not play SVCD - it even says this in the manual , but it plays them fine for the most part - in fact it even says SVCD on the screen when you put one in ..

    I does have a problem with SOME svcd's .. seems to not like data burned right to the edge .. on some brands of disks ... copy same stuff over to another disk and its ok .. not a big problem ...

    it says on it 100-220v but you should always get that confirmed..

    just want to know if the RP82 play Super Audio CD or NO ??


    or you mean every DVDplayer can play DVD-A will play SACD ??

    Currently, ONLY Sony, Philips, Marantz, Accuphase, Denon, Kenwood, Aiwa, and Sharp are manufacturing SACD players
