    Hi

    Im trying to convert a divx file to Mpeg 2 for dvd. Im using TMPG, but it keeps freezing at certain parts of the movie, but the audio continues. Is this because of bad frames, and how do i overcome this. If there is any guides on this issue, pls post a link as i cant find them, on the site.

    I had the same problem, Turned out I had Divx5.02, Upgrading to Divx 5.03 cured it.

    It could work for you too.

    If the DivX has bad frames, TMPG will barf. Check the DivX for bad frames first.

    Use VDUB and select 'Check for bad frames' or DivXfix
