Oh, boy! Finally I bought a DVD drive(actually a
combo driver, DVD + CD-writer) and then tried to
convert a DVD do DivX. I used DVD Decrypter 3.140
to rip it and it works fine. But when I used FlaskMPEG
0.594 to convert the VOB files to DivX 5.0.2 pro, all
I get is an AVI file that no player recognizes!!![]()
(BTW, I've followed letter-by-letter all how-to guides
available)
I thought it was a problem with the codec, then
I tried to encode a movie in VirtualDub and the
resulting DivX file gets perfect. I tried to use
another codec with Flask, like MJPEG, and again
an unreadable file.![]()
I reinstalled Flask, no success.
I tried then to frameserve from Flask to VirtualDub
or TMPGEnc via Premiere plugin and Avisynth (again
following the How-to guides) and all I get is an
error "IPCSource:Wrong server version".![]()
I have the feeling that my Win98 SE installation
is the culprit here since I was able to use Flask with
no problem at all in another computer with almost
the same hardware and OS. But before
starting reinstalling the W98 and all softwares
and all documents againI'd like to know
another opinion...
Thanks for any help!
