I am trying to back-up a DVD that does not have any "_" as spaces in between the words, so should I copy it exactly as it appears on my desktop, or should I insert the "_" where the spaces are right now.

It should be fine if you keep it titled just like it is now.

Thanks. I will just leave the title as it appears on my desktop, and burn it as is.

in all reality I dont think it matters really.......... but for simpliticy sake mine and other tutorials says ALL CAPS and _ for spaces to eliminate the possibility that a dvd player may not play them.
these days most dvd players could care less............ so to ensure there are little to no problems its a good idea to put them in.
yet if you know your player has no problems, there is no concern with leaving the _ out and using lowercase letters for the title name
