Ok - here we go:
I just got a Mustek V56L-2C DVD Player that is supposed to play everything under the sun and well I have borrowed some SVCDs and VCDs from a friend who downloaded them for another "friend" (trying to be politically correct here!). It seems that everytime I put in anything that is VCD or a SVCD it says "WRONG DISC" or showing loading on top right of the screen and does nothing! DVDs work like a champ.
Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? These VCD/SVCD play on the computer using WINDVD.
Thanks in advance (and please excuse me if I am breaking any rules - still new to this)

Mustek is not very consistent in format support in the -as delivered- state
It looks familiar to the problem I had with my Mustek 56 clone.
Have a look at the hack for JDB slimline 2 to enhance compatibility :P .

Ben
