First off i just want to say hello to everyone and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have recently started working with svcd's and I am quite familiar with the proccess. I am able to convert mostly everything but I have finally come up with a stumper. I recently aquired a divx movie that has 2 audio soundtracks. I use bsplayer to switch them back and forth. The first soundtrack is german and the second is english. I decided to take the easy route of converting the divx to vcd by using nero and it worked great except for one major problem. It will only make the vcd using the first soundtrack in german. My question is if there is a way of extracting the second audio soundtrack in a divx thats in english so I can me it into a vcd? I am not limited to using nero so any other programs you guys suggest would be great. Thanks

You can use graphedit it will show both audio tracks delete the one you don't want and then you can extract the other audio stream
i think i saw someone say you can also use nandub -
ok i've never used graphedit before but I have come up with a problem.
whenever i switch the arrows in the Morgan Stream Switcher box for it to play the second audio stream first it lets me do it until i try to save and then it tells me that it's not allowed. I know i did it right because before i save with the new settings I use the built in play function and it plays the 2nd stream first which is great. I noticed that on the top bar it says the file is read only. How do i change that so i can finally save the new settings. The divx filke properties already have Read Only box unchecked. -
Ok, add your media file, delete all the filters on the audio track you dont want, Delete all the filters on the video side aswell
Delete the diredt sound device filter on your audio that you want to keep,Add first to the end of whats left one wav destination then a file writer filter , Join them together and press play -
There is an easier way
VirtualDub Mod . www.doom9.org .

i tried using virtualdubmod till i realized the I have vbr audio which cause an annoying audio skew. I then resorted to trying nandub but for some reason it can't find my second audio stream even though virtualdubmod does. SO i'm pretty much screwed both ways.

Please define audio skew for me .
Also : that skew, whatever it is, does it happen with the direct mp3 stream you extract, or with the audio once you encode it further for your VCD purposes ?
