    Hmm... it's the same company that makes them... They are virtually the same thing with a little different GUI.

    I like primo myself... I just stick with what works, and unless I failed to burn with primo -- I won't move to another....

    Yea i know they are nearly the same but primo does not recognise my SONY DRU500AX as a drive but recordnow max does anybody know a reason for this...

    It doesn't work with your drive because they do not make the software anymore and therefore it doesn't support newer DVD writers
