using mainconcept is there an option to split the movies like tmpge so i can burn or will it do it automatically like avi2 encoder ?

In the advanced settings final tab, there is option to enter split size, i usually select 790 mb for 80 min cd as it is not exact and can be a little under/over.
So if you use a bitrate calc you can fit on to however many discs you want
