Okay, so i'm doing the "poor man's" dvd2one, basically ripping the elementary streams with 0sex, encoding them to fit to dvd-r. This works wonderfully. I know others said their images are bigger than 4.378 GB so they won't work, did they try burning them? Mine when I dropped em into toast were like 4.45 gb but then burned/mounted fine, so I dunno what you guys are doing. It's kind of like how you have an 800 mb image that fits on a 700 mb cd-r, anyways past that, that's not my problem. My problem is I have all these damn widescreen rips, so everything is 16*9. Minx doesn't give me the option to "add the necessary black bars" like ffmpeg does, so i end up REENCODING my whole damn movie in ffmpeg at the same bitrate and selecting the "add necessary black bars" option.....kind of redundant it seems.......anyways, if anyone knows a better way to add these necessary black bars let me know please!!! Thanks!! I already burned Heat without adding the bars and it ended up all scrunched up on my 4:3 tv.......kinda bothered me.
