Can anyone tell me how to fix choppy sound? I have made a futile attempt with no results.

Hi there,
I had the same problem, and just had sucess in getting the sound to be constant and good.
I ripped my DVD with Smart Ripper. Then go to http://www.dvdripguides.com/dvdmenu.php and follow the instructions 2 & 3 on the "How to Rip a DVD to MPEG1/VCD (UPDATED!)". (It will take DVD2AVI + VFP Plugin and TMPGEncto be downloaded, but they are free and they have links to go to do download them) Then burn it with whatever software you have (I like VCD Easy).
Good luck to you.
