  1. I have just recently copied a VHs to my Hard dirive as an MPEG 2. I use MPEGENc to decode the source , then use VCD Easy and NERO to burn the movie unto a VCD disk. To my surprise THE vcd will play on my PC but when I insert the same VCD into my Samsung DVD_V1000, I get the Disk Error- Unable to read disk. I then tried to burn the bin unto a SVCD , the same result.

The same was recorded unto a CDRW and was able to play in my DVD but the picture quality was so poor and sometimes the movie freezes !!!!

Here is the detail of my bin cue:
    Playing Time:30.33.93sec
    Bitrate1410400bps
    Pts Offset=03405,190104 packets
    Video Stream:352x420,29.97003fps(NTSC),1750kps
    Audio Stream:MPEG LAYER2 STEREO,441004,229376BPS

Can anybody please enlighten me on what is wrong, I am a little frustrated , I have wasted about 25 blank CDr and still no luck!!!!

  2. Try a different make(s) of cd/dvd. Try writing the cd/dvd at a different speed ie/ 1x or 2x instead of 16x.
