I have a few problems with this player, can anyone help me out??
1. Sometimes during SVCD movies, the audio will just cut out and the video will continue and i'll have to pause and unpause to get the audio to catch up
2. Sometimes during SVCD anime shows (about 5 tracks/disc) when i am rewinding or fastforwarding or just watching a show, it will go to the next track halfway through the previous track and it bugs me because i'll have to go back and fastforward through the whole track to get to the point that it jumped from. Issue #1 also happens sometimes during 5 tracks/disc SVCDs.
VCD play flawlessy
I bought this player back in about oct or nov 2002, and i don't know if i have the old firmware or something. Can someone please tell me if it's possible to get rid of these problems in someway??
For movies i use:
1. encode entire divx to mpeg2 through tmpgenc, ~1800Kbps
2. create chapters using VCDEasy and create an image file
3. burn cd image using nero at 4x when i'm in a hurry and 2x when i'm not
For anime (multi-track discs):
1. encode each file in tmpegenc ~1700 Kbps
2. use nero to burn as SVCD at 4x when in a hurry and 2x if i'm not
Thanks,
Dan
