Hi all,
Decided to start using my 850 in the bedroom to playback some XVID files but having some issues with aspect.
I can play 1.85:1 stuff OK, it stretches it a little but it's watchable .. but watching 2.35:1 material is unbearable as it stretches the image vertically so much.
Is there anyway around this? Is the player incapable of playing it back without stretching the image? Is there anything I can do about it? For example, add black bars top and bottom to correct the aspect? And if so, how would I do this easily?
Thanks!
adam

Some DVD players that play Divx/Xvid files have this problem. Apparently it has to do with the chip in the player used for Divx/Xvid playback. I've never seen a fix for it.
