In a couple of reviews that I saw on this site, the users said that the only draw back of the Pioneer A05/Cenyne Writer was that it was not compatible or wouldn't work with Pinnacle's Instant Copy. Can any Pioneer A05/Cendyne owners confirm or refute that. Thanks for your help.

Not to agree/dis-agree with @opy@cat but the problem might be that some people can't burn directly from IC. In which case you can have IC make a HD image, then burn with whatever program you like.

That is good to know because if I keep experiencing problems with the Sony DRU 500 AX, I may return it and pull the trigger on getting the Pioneer instead. The Sony is a good versatile writer and does work with Instant Copy but there are alot of annoying problems with the Sony's bundled software. Thanks.

I've got the Cendyne version of the A05 and IC burns fine directly from the program. Assuming, of course, you'd want to do that.
