    Hi,

I have an asus v3400 with video-in. I used it a long time a go for capturing, when I run Win95. Since it didn't support capture under WinNT (?), I haven't used it for that in a long while.
Yesterday I was searching through the capture-card reviews and found it and though I'd read about it. To my surprise it said that it worked good under both WinNT and Win200 (which is what I run today). Since I read that I have been hunting for drivers for the card, but to no avail. The ASUS site (the pages that seem to work) only lists capture possibilities for the Win9x drivers, and the few Win2k drivers I found only lists V3800 and up in the compatibility lists.
I found the ASUS Live software, which promptly tells me that there are no capture device on my computer... (which is not that strange since I haven't found any drivers for ASUS v3400 - I run the latest nVidea drivers which I assume do not support capture?)

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Rico

Try installing the nVidia WDM capture driver. You may have to use verion 1.08 with your card. I know I do with my V7700 deluxe - the newer versions of the driver make a big white rectangle in the middle of my capture!

Asus have the drivers on thier site, as do nVidia.

Personally, I prefer the quality of the old vfw drivers, so I keep win98 just for video capture.

    Hope this helps
