  2. Sorry man but I have got to chuckle a bit on this. I am not laughing at you, its just I did BOB before all these new fancy tools came out..DVD2One, PIC, DVDbot.....etc.... So, to see someone trying to rip BOB with IFOedit is SOOOO Refreshing!!
It took me a week to rip that set of DVD's down. I kept the menu's and both episodes on 1 DVDr.

Here is your problem in a nutshell, its a multpgc DVD with all the VOBs in a VTS_01_XX.VOB series. And to mess you up some more Disk 1,3,4 play the VOB id Backwards. Fun, Fun....

If you want to master this set, do yourself a favor, Assumming the ENTIRE DVD is ripped down to your HD useing DVDdecryptor, Load the Vobs into vStripGUI, SPLIT BY VOB ID.

This will seperate the 2 episodes, then you can wack off the credits, then create new IFO's, then SHRINK them down, then reAuthor the DVD.

This is no way a step by step, but if you know IFOedit, you get the idea.

When you Split by VOB ID, you will see both episodes ripped out of that VTS_01 titleset. Now you can play with it. Ifoedit only grabbed the first episode.. Good Luck, it was a pain.....

There are many ways to do this. Two months ago I did it and it is explained here:

Today I would use InstantCopy 7 and save myself HOURS of work.

  4. Thx for your replies guys much appreciated, i will have a go at this tomoz

can i just ask what this instant copy is about i seen so many people on about it, does this program keep menus?

normally menus do not bother me but for band of brothers i would liek to keep them so you choose which part to play when you insert disk

    Thanks again

  5. I am also in the process of backing up Band of Brothers and the Sopranos. After a few failed attempt in January using other programs, I am now easily doing this using Pinnacle's Instant Copy.
