Guys,
I have ordered some Accus, and am pretty happy with them. But how do I find out if they are made by Sony????
Thanks for your help ...

schildi, try and do a little research before posting a question like this. I guarantee that most people who have seen your post will probably know the answer, but because it has been stated over and over, they won't respond.
To answer your question though, what you need to do is go to the tools section of this forum and download a tool called "ADVDINFO", use the "OE" function in ADVDINFO in your DVD BURNER, NOT your DVD ROM, and it will tell you. Please post your findings here for those disks, as well as what site you purchased them from, and what color the top of them is. Also, if you only have one spindle, check disks with ADVDINFO from the top, middle, AND bottom. Some people have reported different manufacturers within the same spindle.
Oh, by the way, Sony does NOT manufacturer ANY ACCU disks, they simply ave their name etched in them. However, being that SONY isn't gonnat put their name on crap, you can bet they are damn good, and basically the same thing as if Sony did make them! Report your results -
OKAY, TEACHER. Please don't tell my mom that I didn't do my homework!
Thanks for the info, though!

Hey, defense!
I've tried ADVDinfo, and here is what it comes up with:

These are ACCU's that I have bought from meritline about two weeks ago. What does that mean???
I have burned 6 so far - with no problems.
Thanks, Schildi. -
