  1. I TRIED TO DO THE TRANSFER WITH TMPG 12A. IS THIS RIGHT? IF SO WHY DOES IT STOP AFTER VARIOUS TIMES WITH AN ERROR MESSAGE FOR MEMORY LOCATIONS? I'M USING AN AMD 450 K62 WITH 128MB AND A 33 MB FIREBALL DRIVE. IS THIS TOO SLOW? ALL HELP GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED AS I'M QUITE NEW TO THIS AND I'VE GOT SOME GOOD MOVIES TO ENCODE TO VCD.

  2. Why do you use all capitals?

    What messages do you get?
    You can check in TMPG-->Options-->Environmental setting-->
    [tab]General-->Folder setting!
    If this folder is on another drive where not much space is left, you will run out of space on that drive. TMPGenc can use quit a big temp file.
    So set your Temprary file folder to a drive which has plenty of space and put a check in the 'do not use cache functions by OS to access file' checkbox.

    Your drive can't be to slow.
    Describe your problem a little bit more advanced.

    good luck
