    hi
    would like to flash firmware from 1.00 to 1.30 directly without 1.21...
    CAN I DO IT ? IS IT A PROBLEM?

    And is it really advantage to flash it if I will be burning ritek G03 at 1x.
    Pioneer says writability improvement on 1.30 but can we really see it?

    i think you should be able to flash directly to 1.30, the firmware flash program is quite easy to use. should not be a problem there.

    g03 will still burn at 1x after flashing to 1.30, so i think there's not much difference in your case.. may as well not bother. i flashed mine to 1.30 and it did not seem to help in anyway.

    what happens normally when you flash is the first rom that was installed is full erased and then the new rom is installed. No overwriting of numbers or anything just a full on swap of file's. So of course it wont need 1.21 in order to upgrade since all the code needed is in the rom
