OK, so I'm tryin to backup an episode based Anime (Cowboy Bebop) with instant copy. Everything rips and loads ok. I get to the place where I can resize stuff (used the reghack) so I decide to take out the stupid intro commercials and the dolby digital thingy. No big deal. I start encoding, 2 hours later, I have a dvd. This DVD will ONLY play in pc based dvd players. It will NOT play on set tops or on my powerbook dvd player. It gets to the warning the motion picture contained on this disc blah blah blah, and hangs. The next thing that was supposed to come up was the first commercial I took out. The PC dvd players seem to handle this little jump just fine, but my set top and powerbook dvd players hang. They won't let me fast forward or anything (since doing anything at this point in the dvd is prohibited). Anyone else have this issue? By the way, I did a Lord of The Rings - Fellowship of the Ring - Appendix A backup with Instant Copy and it plays fine. I'm also doing another backup of an anime and not changing anything to see if its actually taking stuff out that causes the issue.
Oh yea ... anyone else find it odd that Instant Copy makes an untitled DVD with no AUDIO_TS folder?
