Hi, can anyone advise me how to copy my region2 dvds onto my hard drive and then what is the best software to burn them into region 1 standard for my samsung dvd 1080p8 which currently wont play region 2 dvds, i have tried to change the region code to 9 but all the posts giving instructions on this dont work for me ??
Any advice gladly received

DVD Fab HD Decrypter is the tool of choice for ripping to hard drive (movie only or entire disk), then use DVD Shrink to make them fit on a single layer DVD+/-R and ImgBurn to write to disk.
This process uses entirely free software and will make the disks region 0 so they should play on all players.
