    Anyone have any comments or anything to say about the Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe?

    Which is better? Dazzle Video Creator 100 or Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe?

    Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe ? I own one. Great hardware, bad software. Quality of captured MPEG2 is great if signal is great. For some reason I am having slight out-of-sync issue about 0.5s in 1 hour 30 minutes, but than can be blaimed on anything. Authoring software or fact that I am using it with USB 1 port or that I used old 1.0 version of their sofware to capture. 1.5 is much better now.

    I came to conclusion that you can save time with encoding by capturing in MPEG2 but if you need to edit captured material .... .... you can prepare yourself for a lot of issues.

    Good think is that it is external so I can move it arround and use it with laptop.
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
