  1. When I try and burn a DVD+R with chapters with Ulead MovieFactory 1 OR 2, it first multiplexes the audio and video, then it give me the error message, "Some chapters entry frame number exceed the total frames." What should I do to fix this

  2. I just burnt the movie without the chapters and it burnt fine. I started to watch it and there are screnes where the picture lags (freezes for a second). The audio does not lag, but when the video starts back up, it isn't out of sync. By the way, this was the first DVD I have burnt so I don't know if it will work better with other software, DVD's, etc.

Any help on this problem or the previous? Thanks

How did you convert the mpeg-2 file in the first place? Maybe something's really wrong with this file.

  5. I used the guide "How to convert a SVCD or MPEG2/MP2 files to VCD, SVCD or DVD" at https://www.videohelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm. It recommended using dvd2avi and then use TMPGEnc to convert to compatible dvd mpeg. It worked great.
I then us MovieFactory2 to combine 4 mpeg2 to 1 dvd. It played great when I burned it without chapters, but it comes up with the "Some chapters entry frame number exceed the total frames" error when I try to add chapters.

  6. I used TMPGENc (Plus). I followed the directions given in (https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgencdvd.htm). It plays fine and burns fine w/o chapters, but when I do with them I get the message. Also, when I burn it without chapters, the thing lags on audio and video for a second or two at a time. I can't figure that out either...

  7. I have found the problem. For some reason DVD workshop only recognizes the first 35 minutes of each of my mpegs even though they are 45 minutes long. So I removed the chapters that wen past the 35 minute mark and it worked. It still sucks that I can not have chapters after 35 minutes, but I can deal with it. Now I have to find out why this is happening with the mpegs.

  8. Yeah, this seems to be a common problem with DVDMF2. This has something to do with how DVDMF2 handles 2/3 & 3/2 pulldowned mpegs. Deleting chapters from the end of the video will fix the problem, but mess with your chapter setup....
