Does anyone know if these are just like any other cdr when it comes to burning and playing MPEG's & Audio on Pc's and DVD players?
They are actually really cheap, so I want to know if these will work.
Thanks for the help.

You need a special burner to burn these, and they probably can't be read by most players.

what technology is it using thou? dual sided cd-r? dual layer cd-r? if its a flipper, then it'd work, if its something else, then nah. DVD-R is prolly a better way to go anyway.

One may purchase 90 and 99 minute (800 & 870MB) CDR here http://www.allmediaoutlet.com/9099minutes.html . I don't know what's involved in writing to or reading from this media.

Its a one sided CD that can hold up to 1.3 gigs of information. Only sony makes these discs and burners. The burner is about $90 and the discs are about $2 a piece. Roughly 160min of VCD video. Only Sony's A1 burners can burn these disc, but Im not sure if any reader can read them. The technology is good, but it came out too late. It came out about a year ago, but currently, dvd-r media is about the same price and it has 3x the storage space.

Those Sony "1.3 GB" CD-R are mainly used for burning DATA onto them.
